Starting February 1, 2025, Dubai's Salik toll system will implement a variable pricing structure aimed at improving traffic flow and reducing congestion. This marks the first adjustment to Salik toll rates since the system's inception.

Weekday Toll Rates:
    •    Peak Hours (6:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM): AED 6 per crossing.

    •    Off-Peak Hours (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM – 1:00 AM): AED 4 per crossing.

    •    Overnight (1:00 AM – 6:00 AM): No toll charges.

Sundays:
    •    Toll rate remains at AED 4 throughout the day, with no charges between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM.

These changes are part of a broader strategy by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to manage traffic demand and encourage off-peak travel. The RTA is also introducing variable parking tariffs and congestion pricing in event areas to further alleviate traffic congestion.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly to take advantage of lower toll rates during off-peak hours and to contribute to smoother traffic flow across the city.
